NudgeBell

Your reminders, where you already are

The WhatsApp reminder app that follows up the way you set it

NudgeBell sends your reminder as a WhatsApp message to your own number, at the time you pick. Tap the link inside and confirm to acknowledge it. If you want a backup, add email, SMS or a phone call as extra steps, in any order, with any delay.

You're in WhatsApp all day. Your reminders aren't.

Most reminder apps send a push notification from an app you rarely open. You see it for half a second, swipe it away, and it's gone. NudgeBell sends your reminder to WhatsApp, where you're already reading messages. Tap the link inside and confirm, and it is acknowledged. Ignore it and whatever follow-up steps you added run on their own. If you added none, the reminder simply ends there.

How it works

Set it once. We handle the rest.

Step 01

Add what you want to remember

A birthday, a renewal, a deadline. Give it a title and a date.

Step 02

Pick a channel

WhatsApp, SMS, email, or a phone call. Whatever you're most likely to see.

Step 03

Live your life

We'll nudge you on the day, where you're already looking. You won't miss it.

A worked example: the 8am tablet

This is one person's chain, not a default. You choose the channels, the order and the delays, from 1 to 5 steps.

1
WhatsApp8:00am, every day: a WhatsApp message saying "Thyroid tablet, before breakfast" with an acknowledge link.
2
SMS9:00am, only if the link has not been tapped: an SMS with the same text and link.
3
Call9:30am, only if still not acknowledged: a phone call. Press 1 to acknowledge.
4
DoneAcknowledge at any step and the rest of that day's chain is cancelled. It starts fresh the next morning.

You pay only for steps that run. On a morning you acknowledge from WhatsApp, that is one WhatsApp message: 5 credits to a US number at current rates. The SMS and the call cost credits only on the days they go out. If the call is not answered, most of its credits are refunded.

You build yours in under 2 minutes.

What arrives in your WhatsApp

A message from NudgeBell's WhatsApp Business number with your own reminder text and a link to acknowledge it. Nothing else. For the 8am tablet above, it reads like this:

There is no contact to save, no bot to join and nothing to install. NudgeBell sends from its servers, so the reminder does not depend on your phone being on at that moment. If you are offline, WhatsApp delivers it when you are back.

Illustration, not a screenshot. The wording is the real message; the middle line is whatever you wrote.

What it does not do

  • It reminds you, not other people. Each account has one verified phone number, so you cannot message friends, groups or customers. For customer messaging, look at a business tool such as WATI. Compare WhatsApp reminder apps.
  • It is not a chat bot. You cannot create a reminder by messaging NudgeBell on WhatsApp, and replying to the message does not acknowledge it. Tap the link and press the confirm button on the page that opens.
  • It is a web app. There is no App Store or Play Store download.
  • Repeats are daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. There is no custom interval such as every 3 days.
  • A chain has 1 to 5 steps and ends after its last one. A repeating reminder runs the chain again on its next date, and nothing is sent in between.

Frequently asked questions

Is the WhatsApp reminder app free?

You get 25 credits when you sign up, with no card. What a WhatsApp reminder costs depends on the country of your number, because WhatsApp's own fees vary: at current rates it is 5 credits in the US, 4 in India and 14 in the UK. So the free credits cover 5 WhatsApp reminders to a US number. After that, plans start at $5 a month for 250 credits, which is about 50 WhatsApp messages to a US number. See pricing.

Do I need to save a contact or join a bot first?

No. You verify your phone number once in NudgeBell. Reminders then arrive from NudgeBell's WhatsApp Business number like any other message.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. It works on any phone that has WhatsApp. You create reminders in the browser and nothing is installed on the phone.

What happens if I do not acknowledge the WhatsApp message?

The next step you added runs after the delay you chose, on the channel you chose. If there are no more steps, the chain ends.

Can my AI agent set WhatsApp reminders for me?

Yes. NudgeBell has an MCP server and a REST API, so an agent can create the reminder and NudgeBell's servers deliver it. See the docs.
